The goal was to strengthen awareness and image and to introduce and establish symmedia in the trade press. The industry 4.0 expert had not done any active PR work before. The agency's task was to establish the strategic press work and to position symmedia as a reliable provider of industry 4.0 solutions in the trade press.
On the basis of a one-day workshop, the responsible PR consultant created a communications concept including SWOT, competition analysis, target group definition, positioning and strategic measures and action planning. After final approval by the client, all planned measures were realized promptly.
In the first year of cooperation, the agency achieved a total of 99 publications in the trade press for symmedia. The resulting media equivalent value was six times higher than the budget. A trade article on the subject of industry 4.0 alone was published 18 times. The awareness of symmedia has also risen considerably: editors regularly publish reports from symmedia.
