Real customer proximity is the central topic in the communication of Remira GmbH. Founded in 1994 in Bochum/Germany, the IT specialist uses its product LogoMate® - a software for material planning and inventory management – in more than 150 companies with over 600 installations.

Task

additiv pr was requested for the development of strategic content marketing and modern trade press work. In addition to logistics, target industries of the IT expert are primarily retail, DIY, food, industry, e-commerce and textiles. The primary goal was to increase awareness of the product in these sectors and to highlight the solution competence of the medium-sized company. This task requires comprehensive advice and continuous customer care.

Solution

On the basis of a one-day communication workshop, we developed a long-term editorial and action plan. The focus of our press work lies on tier 1 media in the selected industries. Personal contact with these media was established through face-to-face meetings with journalists in their editorial offices or at trade fairs. Relevant topics were initiated and placed by the agency based on regular press work and content marketing in target group-oriented channels.

Result

The result is convincing: In the first year of our cooperation, Remira achieved around 70 publications – sometimes exclusively published in the most important tier 1 media. As a result, the media equivalent value is six times higher than the invested budget. Meanwhile the important editors know Remira as specialist for inventory optimization and precise sales planning. So they ask the medium-sized IT company specifically about these topics.
