Leak-free tube couplings and valves are the specialty of coupling experts VOSS Fluid GmbH. The over 400 employees of the company produce over 16,000 different articles. The company's industry focus includes stationary and mobile hydraulic systems - important target markets are found around the globe.

Task

Tube coupling components are generally standard parts and thus interchangeable. The marketing department of VOSS Fluid planned to raise the awareness of the USPs of their products and services through continuous communication, to introduce new products to the market faster and to further strengthen the company's existing image. All targets applied for the ten most important sales regions worldwide.

Solution

Around 700 trade journalists around the world receive the latest product and corporate information on VOSS Fluid at least once per month. Selected editors are also provided with exclusive articles, user reports, and interviews. Translations are prepared, depending on the topic and relevance in the respective sales market: English is standard; Spanish, Swedish and Turkish versions are regularly sent out. Up to twelve different translations are needed for product launches, campaigns, or for international trade fairs, including Polish, Portuguese, and Chinese. The continuous press work as well as constant maintenance of distribution and editorial contacts ensures a high awareness level and the company's positioning as an international expert for coupling technology.

Result

Based on our work, VOSS Fluid had 85 publications, 36 of them in international trade media already during the first six months of consistent international PR. The tube coupling experts also profit from a communications strategy tailored specifically to the company, strict topic and action planning and professional consulting through a dedicated PR contact at the agency.
